XIAHE

Due to unrest in the region, travel to Xiàhé (夏河) Tibetan Autonomous County in south Gansu is occasionally restricted for foreign visitors. Contact the Overseas Tibetan Hotel for up-to-date information. 

There are reports that the South Bus Station requires foreigners to provide photocopies of their passport and visa when they buy bus tickets to Xiahe.
