Chéng Huángmiào (Town God's Temple)

Huáng Miào is an old temple complex of four courtyards, converted into a huge outdoor and indoor antiques centre (古玩, gŭwán). There are also shops for the sale of calligraphy equipment and tea sets. Weekends are especially busy.

6 floors of antiques, memorabilia, calligraphy, and so on. Hidden away between Zhāngyē Lù (张掖路) and Wŭdū Lù (武都路). Walk south from Huángmiào, then take the second right. Alternatively, walk north from Boton coffee shop on Wŭdū Lù, then turn right at the theatre.

Walking west from the Lanzhou Hotel, there are several places on both sides of the road to buy local products (Tibetan trinkets, toy camels, dried herbs and medicines, wine, wine glasses, and so on).
