The mosque was rebuilt between mid-2006 and mid-2007. There are 4 floors, including 2 prayer halls, classrooms and dormitories, for when there are residential courses. Next door to the mosque is one of Lanzhou's primary schools for ethnic minorities:


GETTING THERE:
The mosque is 5 mins walk from Nanguan Shizi (
南关什字). Walk south along Jiuquan Lu (酒泉路), south of Nanguan Shizi (南关什字), then turn left (east) onto Gannan Lu (甘南路):

WOW! Nice pictures & very well detailed introduction of Lanzhou. Might be travelling to visit Lanzhou (Hopefully later tis month)fro Singapore.
So you've been in Lanzhou since 2002? Guess you must like it very much to stay tis long ya!!
I'm hoping to find soething to do, small business or employment if opportunity arise from my trip. Looking to stay 3weeks, might also travel to Zhejiang to visit friends there.
BTW, I'm a beginner into DSLR...also using a D70S, 18-135mm & 80-210mm.
