Chéngyǔ (成语) are Chinese idioms, often made up of 4 characters, usually the moral of an old story. This park, on the north bank of the Yellow River, in Anning District, has a set of statues on display that depict these stories. 
司马光砸缸 (sīmǎguāng zágāng) A child who is intelligent and brave
指鹿为马 (zhǐlùwéimǎ) Deliberately misrepresent to please someone
对牛弹琴 (duìniútánqín) Talk over somebody's head (lit. play music to a cow)
狐假虎威 (hújiǎhǔwēi) Bully people by flaunting one's powerful connections
龟兔赛跑 (guītùsàipǎo) Overconfidence will lead to failure (the hare and tortoise story)
凿壁借光 (záobìtōuguāng) Whether poor or rich you can succeed in your studies
盲人摸象 (mángrénmōxiàng) Draw conclusions without all the information (lit. blind men feeling the elephant)
